After the fiasco of the Season 6 mid-season finale, Marlene King tweeted on December 23rd that the A story is not in fact over! So now she is saying that Mona was Original A, CeCe is Big A, but Uber A is the ultimate mystery of the series. Yeah, that Face to Face finale revealing CeCe as A was a hot mess! Seriously, from the halograph to the thrown together transgender storyline, to none of it making any sense and leaving too many questions and loose ends, it was an insult to the fandom. Honestly, the whole first half of season 6 feels like a big mistake in an attempt to drag out the show longer, we are hoping the writers will redeem themselves in the 2nd half of the season. Pretty Little Liars creator Marlene King and her staff are pretty genius in the way they have hidden in plain sight all of the clues that identify Aria as being A in the series.
Keegan Allen (Toby Cavanaugh) has recently said in a January 2015 Interview, "I do know who A is, and what I love about who it is that everyone knows who it is... but it will be so shocking and surprising." He went on to add, "Everyone will freak out because it’s so clearly in every episode,” he added, while laughing. “When it’s finally revealed, you could literally go back to season 1 and knowing who it is, you can be like, ‘Oh, wow. Whoa. This has been here all along, and I never noticed it,’ which is, I think, brilliant." This description fits Aria being A to a T! Some General Clues and Themes To Be on the Lookout For
Good advice Ali. A has to be one of the liars. It is the only way to explain how A has access to so much inside information. If you watch closely, you will notice that the girls most often confide first in Aria. There are also so many obvious clues in almost every episode that point to Aria.
Aria often is the first to discover a clue, steer the girls in a certain direction, or is missing when the other liars are investigating.
Aria is always the one who talks the liars out of contacting the police when they consider the option.

The final scene of every episode features A. Many of these scenes have clues that point to Aria.
The show is filled with literary themes. Aria is a writer and loves literature. Alison and Aria also both kept journals and Aria had possession of at least part of Ali's journal.
