PLL Episode 2x11 - I Must Confess
Clues in this Episode that Aria is A

This episode was called "I Must Confess". Marlene King, the executive producer of Pretty little liars, tweeted to the fans to pay attention to the names of the episodes because they will have little clues to -A for most of the episodes. Aria's brother, Mike, has recently been breaking into houses. Aria knew this before anyone else in her family but decided to keep it a secret from her parents to hopefully protect Mike --this is another example of how Aria can lie to people that she is close to. When Aria's parents find out she doesn't admit to them that she knew about this for a while. In this episode she finally tells her parents that she is tired of keeping secrets because secrets have almost torn their family apart last time she kept secrets from them. Aria is the only person in this episode that confessed to something in this episode...
"A is everywhere, constantly on us, like a shadow." - Aria
The girls have recently gotten a therapist to help them talk about what is going on in their lives. The girls have gotten close to telling Dr. Sullivan about -A, but they haven't quite gotten there yet. Every time they try, they always find a reason for them to get out of it. In this episode all of the girls decide to meet up at Dr. Sullivan's office to finally tell her about -A. The girls have been hesitant about telling their therapist about -A for quite some time. They didn't want anyone to find out, but the girls decided to finally tell her and let someone in. Since they can't go to the police, they think that telling Dr. Sullivan is the next best thing. Once the girls tell her, Dr. Sullivan says:
Dr. Sullivan: "Who's using you to knock down your friends?"
Spencer: "Somebody had been trying to hurt us. For a long time."
The camera shows all of the girls and the picture above shows what Aria looked like. She almost looks guilty and upset. Maybe because she is on the -A team and is hurting her friends? It does happen way too often that when they talk about A and them hurting the girls, the camera shows Aria and she always seems to have a guilty of scared look on her face

The girls therapist, Dr. Sulivan, came to speak at their school about their future plans and bullying. As Dr. Sulivan was talking about bullying, Aria a a guilty look on her face the entire time. At one point during her speech she even looked away. It almost seemed like she was guilty of something and couldn't admit it. When the assembly was over the girls met up outside. Jenna walked by all four of the girls. Aria told the girls she had to go a would meet up with them later. Jenna recognized Aria's voice and turned around to talk to them.
Jenna says to Aria: "Did you go to the Assembly?"
Spencer: "Yes, we all did, Jenna. Why?"
Jenna: "Just curious. What did you think of the speech? Too little too late huh?"
Jenna specifically targets Aria and only asked if she went to the assembly. It makes you wonder if Jenna knows more about Aria than we think. Maybe Jenna knows that Aria is -A and is trying to hint the other girls towards it...

In episode 2x09, Aria's parents find out about her brother breaking into houses. Byron talks to Ella about it but they don't seem to have the same opinion. They both seem to have a different opinion about what to do with Mike. Byron tries to relate it to his brother. We find out also in 2x09 that Aria has some mental disorders in her family. Byron's brother had to see a therapist because of his mental disorder. Byron thinks that maybe Mike is following in his foot steps because after all they are related and the traits could have been passed down. Mike could have gotten those traits, but Aria also could have gotten them. She is still related to him. Maybe her parents are worried about the wrong kid...
After the girls visit Dr. Sullivan and tell her about -A, she gets a call from an anonymous person. The person calling doesn't actually say anything--they only play a tape recording of Dr. Sullivan talking at the girls last visit. Obviously the tape recorder had to be in the same room as the girls during their session. Dr. Sullivan gets freaked out by this anonymous caller and immediately calls the police...if it was a recording of just her talking with the girls, they tape recorder must have been taken by one of the girls themselves. This obviously means that one of the girls is A. Marlene King did tweet one day that one of the girls is A. It was soon deleted after, but she obviously wanted to give the audience a clue about who A!
Garrett Renolds - an old neighbor of Emily's - is now on the police force. He is helping Dr. Sullivan with this case. He asks her questions about what exactly happened. Unfortunately, Dr. Sullivan cannot tell the police the whole story about what happened because the information the girls have given her is confidential.
Officer Renolds asks: "Are you sure that the recorded was not taken by one of your patients?"
Dr. Sullivan: "Of course not, my patients would not do this"
But really, why wouldn't they? If one of the girls was -A why wouldn't they want to scare Dr. Sullivan as well? She's now in it with the rest of the girls. Wouldn't it just make sense if one of the girls is -A? All the more likely for it to be Aria!

Once the police leave Dr. Sullivan's office, she begins to look through all of her files. Three of the girl's files are shown (Aria, Spencer, and Hanna). Both Spencer and Hanna's file was hand written. Usually a file that is handwritten means that their first sessions was just recently and the therapist just hasn't had a chance to upload the information into the computer. Unlike the other two girls, Aria's file was typed and she even has a client number. Why would Aria's file be the only one typed? The only way is if she had seen Dr. Sullivan for past problems. Aria's dad did say that mental diseases run in his family. Maybe she had been going to Dr. Sullivan for a mental disease. Aria does have many signs of a split personality disorder...maybe after she went to Radley (because there has been many rumors of her going to Radley because of her mental disorder) she went to Dr. Sullivan to help get her mind in the right place.
