PLL Episode 5x24 - I'm A Good Girl, I am
Earlier in the episode when Aria talks to Mike about not telling the police the truth, It becomes more obvious that there has to be a bigger reason why Aria doesn't want Mike to tell the police. Aria is going to do everything she can to try and prevent him from saying anything. She probably thought that if he said anything more things about the girls would come up. Things like Shaunna that Aria has been able to hide because she is Big A...

After the conversation that Mike had with Aria, she probably wasn't very convinced that Mike wouldn't tell anyone about what he knew to the police. Aria must've thought she had to come up with a plan to make sure that Mike didn't talk. She opens a package apparently outside on the porch, but it is possible and very likely that Aria got the package herself and pretended that she got it from the front porch. She decides to open the package right in front of Mike. Almost like she wanted him to see what was inside. When she opens the package there is an odor that comes off and Mike comments on it. He reaches in the package and pulls out a huge tongue. This obviously scares Mike which was probably Aria's goal so he wouldn't tell the police anything that he knew about Mona.

This scene is a little creepy on Andrew's part. He seems to be getting jealous that Aria is going to Ezra for help with Mike. Aria is just looking out for Mike and Andrew is acting like it is a crime. He has been kind of suspicious always trying to earn Aria's trust and prove his loyalty. Why does Andrew feel the need that ned HAS to prove his loyalty? There must be a reason that Andrew always tells Aria that he would do ANYTHING for her. There must be something in the bigger picture. My guess is that he is helping her and working for her on the A team and he needs to build her trust. Later that night, Ezra and Mike go to Ezra's cabin and find Caleb there trying to convince Mike that he needs to tell the police about what he knows. Mike wants to tell, but Aria won't let him. She keeps convincing him that it is not a good idea. She says that if Mike tells, he will be the one that will go down for this and Aria doesn't want to put her brother through that. But is that the only reason? I think that Aria is scared that the police will find a way to pin point it on her and it would ruin her plan as Big A.

Maybe when Andrew found out that Mike might tell the police about what happened to Mona, he thought it would be the perfect opportunity to prove to Aria that he is a loyal member of her A team. He probably thought that if he stopped Mike from telling the police he would prove to Aria that she could trust him. I think Andrew was the one who attacked Mike in the woods to try and get on Aria's good side and for her to trust him...
